Our contributions to the fight against Coronavirus

The Eczacıbaşı Group firmly believes that we can overcome this pandemic through collaboration and mutual support based on reason and science, and that every segment of society should contribute to these efforts. Accordingly, we have set aside TL 10 million for virus containment and mitigation efforts, TL 5.5 million of which we have already allocated. Additionally, we have donated TL 2 million to the National Solidarity Campaign initiated by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.
Our employees are our greatest strength
The Eczacıbaşı Group is dedicated to providing societies with the products and services required for modern, high quality, and healthy living. Hence, we believe that one of our principal social responsibilities at this time is ensuring the continuity of our manufacturing operations, especially those producing critical goods and services. While doing this, our top priority is protecting the health of our employees, which is why we are taking every recommended safety precaution in light of the most current  information and developments.
Employees at our healthcare and consumer products companies are providing products and services that are especially vital for families and healthcare professionals at this time. Through their dedication and outstanding effort, our employees are contributing to the struggle against the virus and to the health of our communities.
Accordingly, the Eczacıbaşı Group is implementing all those measures needed to ensure the safety of our employees and the highest level of hygiene at every one of our production sites.

By the side of healthcare workers
Group companies donated a variety of medical and cleaning supplies to hospitals and health centers in 53 provinces where the Group has a presence.  Medical supplies included N95 and FFP3 masks, surgical masks, ventilator, face shields, thermometers, disposable aprons, protective eyewear, disposable overalls, cabins for examination, bio-sample collection, and intubation. Companies also sent disinfectants, cologne, and tissue paper products as well as photocell mixers for handwashing.

Healthcare workers are on the front line of the struggle against the pandemic, working day and night with dedication and self sacrifice. We are supporting their efforts by providing free supplies of disinfectants, tissue paper products and cleaning products under our Selpak Professional and Maratem brands to hotels that are offering healthcare workers free room and board while they work. We are also supporting healthcare workers and pharmacists by providing them with Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Marketing products.
VitrA Innovation Center is dedicating its rapid production capacity to making medical parts, tools and supplies needed by hospitals, especially those in its community. The center is also contributing its printing services through the 3D Support Collective Production Movement, of which it is a member. Additionally, we are providing materials and monetary support to a variety of workshops and groups involved in the production of face shields.
Contributing to the health of seniors

Accordingly, we donated 327 thousand bottles of eau de cologne to the Turkish presidency's campaign to provide basic hygiene supplies to citizens 65 and older.
